I’d like you to meet Stan... the new plan...

Finally, tech that won’t make you pull your hair out

A Note From Colleen

Hi, friend.

The tech will not torture you… ever again.

I have incredible news. His name is Stan (aka Stan.Store). Stan’s our new plan. He’s  (it) a game changer for us non-techies that just want to make money online and not have to become professional coders.

I love Stan and I think you will, too.

Also a PERSONAL INVITATION to an Open House this Wednesday, May 15. RSVP and details below, but it’s a great opportunity to come get an overview of starting an online business and figuring out if it’s something you want to pursue.

Thanks for being here.

Cheers,

BUSINESS BASICS

Stan’s The Plan - Stan.Store

In order to have an online business you need a way to build ‘funnels’.

Funnels are the backend online tech pieces that enable you to have sales pages, collect email addresses and payments; and, host and deliver digital products.

In essence, your entire online business is a funnel (or a series of them).

Prior to Stan you had two options to build funnels:

  1. A complicated ‘all-in-one’ tool, like Kajabi or Teachable or High Level or Kartra.

These tools claim to be for non-techies, but they’re not for us digital-immigrant non-techies.  They’re good tools, but assume a lot of tech capabilities. I used Kajabi (Confession, it took me 6 months to figure it out).

  1. Or, you could duct tape together (using fancy and complicated tools like Zapier) a plethora of apps and tools to cobble together a complete funnel:

  • Landing/sales page builder

  • Product builder and host

  • Email service provider

  • Payment processor

  • Digital product delivery mechanism

But, now, there’s Stan.

😍Stan Is The New Plan 😍

Stan.Store manages your entire business from start to finish.

And, drum roll… Stan’s simple.

  • No website needed

  • No custom domain needed - this can be a complicated process to purchase a domain and get it verified.

  • About 30 minutes to set up (seriously!)

You can run your entire business with Stan.Store:

  • Sell digital products - all formats (create landing and sales pages)

  • Take payment via PayPal and Stripe integrations

  • Build eCourses and memberships directly in Stan

  • Host digital products

  • Deliver digital products

  • Communicate with customers (email services)

  • Note: You cannot sell physical products in Stan, but you can create a  ‘custom link product’ that directs customers to anywhere, including a physical product virtual storefront (such as Shopify or Etsy).

Did I mention Stan’s affordable, too?

  • 14-Day Free Trial

  • $29/ month for the basic Creator plan (totally suitable for your new business)

  • $99/month for the Creator Pro plan (when you’re ready to really go all-in)

  • No long term contracts. Cancel anytime.

I encourage you to check out Stan if tech has been a hurdle.

And, if you want to start a business (including how to set up Stan from start to finish) and want some help I invite you to join my Open House this Wednesday, May 15, 2024.

A PERSONAL INVITATION

IS STARTING AN ONLINE BUSINESS FOR YOU?

Pilot to Profit Masterclass and Informational Open House

WHEN: Wednesday, May 15, 2024

WHERE: Zoom (link will be sent)

TIME: 12pm CT | 1pm ET | 10 am PT | 5pm UK | 4am Thursday -Sydnet

WHAT

The OPEN HOUSE will be a casual get together and masterclass.

You'll want to join the OPEN HOUSE if you're interested in starting a simple online business: Have no idea where to start; the tech has you stumped; and, the idea of selling gives you the icks.

I encourage you to join me if you’re not sure you want to pursue an online business. You’ll walk away understanding the full scope of what’s really required.

I’ll share details of my Pilot to Profit Program, too. There will be NO sales pitch.

From a current Pilot to Profit student:

Dear Colleen,

Thank you SO MUCH for ‘P2P’ [Pilot to Profit]. It is exactly what I’ve been searching for, for a long time!

I’m an artist, designer and Reiki Master. I am 58 years old and want to create income which will give freedom and earnings into my later years?! My husband has always supported me, so I wish to contribute towards a good lifestyle in ‘retirement’ years. (I’m not ready to sit in a chair and watch TV all day!).

I’ve previously enrolled in several online courses and wasted thousands of pounds, learning very little. These courses just didn’t relate to me (or I to them!).

After wasting another £3k last year I was so disappointed and in honesty felt duped!

So I decided, that’s it! I’m done! I’m not wasting another penny. It’s never going to work!

However, the entrepreneur in me does not like to give up easily! And when I saw P2P advertised I was intrigued. It’s specifically created for us ‘older’ players and it really spoke to me. I’ve followed Colleen from way back, so I could trust her. I admire her grit and straight talk. I took a breath and thought, this is it, last chance….

And so far, it has been great! I’m not quite there yet with my online art programme- but it is coming to life! Finally! After years of trying. And it truly hasn’t been that hard! Yes, the tech was a worry….. but ‘Stan‘, introduced by Colleen, seems to tick all the boxes and take away the worry and overwhelm.  Usually the tech ends my journey! But I know I’m going to get my online product out there this time - and it’s all thanks to Colleen, her no nonsense, clear approach in her excellent ‘Pilot to Profit‘ programme! Thank you so much Colleen.

LIFE REIMAGINED

Holy Toledo!

I met up with some high school classmates on Friday. I moved to another state for much of the last 3 decades and only recently returned to my hometown. I’ve not done a great job of keeping in touch other than Facebook so it’s been about 39 years since I’ve seen most of them.

We had such a great time although, if I’m 100% honest, it left me a little sad. Everyone was talking about their families and such… which is always a hard reminder that my hubby is gone and my life took a turn I could have ever imagined.

I hate that I feel a little jealous of them, but I am. Of course, I’d never wish widowhood on anyone, but it was a stark reminder that life throws some pretty shitty curveballs.

Today, I am counting my blessings - focusing on all that I do have. I hope you’re able to do that, too. Sometimes, it’s all we have to hang onto.

BTW: Seeing my classmates, we’re all in our late 50’s now, was also a great reminder of just how badass we women over 50 are. These ladies are doing incredible things. I’m lucky to know them.

QUICK WINS

Totally off (business)  topic here, but I have a dachshund, Trixie. She HATES having her toenails clipped and I hate clipping them. I’m terrified of hurting her.

She smells my fear and screeches… before I even get the clippers near her foot. She totally plays me.

I found a solution.I finally ordered one of those Dremel-like file tools (I bought an off brand because I’m cheap). Trixie doesn’t love it, but tolerates it, especially if I have her treats nearby and bribe her. I am glad for this win!

COMING NEXT WEEK

I’m going to start diving further into what your day-to-day online business will look like (and require). We all have busy lives. Our businesses need to fit within our lifestyle, so what does this actually look like?
